A hydraulic cylinder easily lifts the disc mower without utilizing the three-point linkage and when you’re transporting it to and from the field it nimbly folds into a vertical position. Three, counter rotating discs make short work of your brush and the DM1024 only requires a minimum of 46 PTO horsepower to operate.

THREE BLADED DISCS FOR MORE CUTS
With three blades per disc, Kubota mowers are constantly cutting. This design allows for a third less load per blade; an even load on the drive; smoother power usage; and produces a neat, cleanly cut stubble. Each steel blade is precisely angled to immediately discharge the cut crop upwards by both air flow and mechanical action.
COUNTER-ROTATING CUTTING DISCS FOR IMPROVED OVERLAP
All Kubota mowers have an even number of counter-rotating discs. Apart from the immediate crop transport to the rear, this system ensures that even in wet conditions, no stripes of uncut forage are left in the field.

SPRING LOADED BREAKAWAY
When an obstacle is encountered, the mower swings backwards to protect the cutterbar. By reversing, the mower is reset into working position.
FAST LIFTING ON HEADLAND
The mower is easily lifted via a hydraulic cylinder without activating the tractor’s 3pt linkage. This proves to minimize wear on the tractor, as the PTO stays in the same position, minimizing vibrations in the transmission.
TRANSPORT SOLUTION
When in transport, the mowers are folded to a vertical position well behind the tractor. The center of gravity is close to the tractor, which ensures excellent weight distribution and transport stability.
